Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) School Feeding Program

Since 2007, Jollibee Group Foundation has been contributing to address the undernutrition of Filipino students through its Busog, Lusog, Talino or BLT School feeding program.

In 2016, the Department of Education adopted the nationwide school-based feeding program or SBFP covering all malnourished students from Grades 1 to 6. This prompted JGF to create the BLT Central Kitchen, a support facility to DepEd’s SBFP that makes large-scale feeding possible.

Through the central kitchen model, meals for multiple schools are prepared and distributed by one kitchen. This helps make the school feeding programs more efficient and cost-effective, ultimately nourishing more Filipino children.

To date, 41 BLT Central Kitchens have been established in the country, serving nutritious meals to over 30,000 students from more than 200 schools nationwide.
